Ingredients

  • 1 package Harmony Valley Vegetarian Hamburger Mix
  • ¼ cup stir-fry oil (sesame, peanut, and vegetable oils)
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • ½ teaspoon fresh ground ginger
  • ¼ cup diced onion
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into thin julienne slices
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • ¼ cup Braggs Liquid Aminos
  • 1 full crown broccoli, roughly chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Chili Bean Sauce (Toban Djan)
  • 2 cups cooked jasmine rice (1 to 1 ¼ cups uncooked)

Directions

  1. Prepare Harmony Valley Vegetarian Hamburger Mix according to package instructions.
  2. Heat 3 tablespoons oil in non-stick skillet. Sauté the Harmony Valley Vegetarian Hamburger Mix until browned and cooked through. Set aside.
  3. Heat the remaining oil in a wok, or 12 inch skillet. Add the garlic, ginger and onion and stir-fry until fragrant.
  4. Add the peppers and stir-fry for about 30 seconds. Add the mushrooms and 1 tablespoon Braggs. Cook for 30 seconds.
  5. Add the broccoli and 1 tablespoon Braggs. Cook for 1 minute.
  6. Add the cooked Harmony Valley Vegetarian Hamburger mixture, the chili bean sauce, and the remaining Braggs. Toss ingredients together and stir-fry for about 1 more minute.
  7. Serve on rice and garnish with julienned green onions or carrots, or chopped peanuts.
